With more than EUR 350 million in fund assets, we specialize in supermarkets , (neighbourhood) shopping centers, social impact-, and special (Amsterdam) real estate in the Netherlands.* We focus on investment projects with good returns and limited risk.

Frank Heeneman
Managing Director
Frank Heeneman founded Heeneman & Partners in 2009. Prior to starting his own company, Frank was employed at Aberdeen Property Investors in the Netherlands as Managing Director (2005 - 2009). He was responsible, among other things, for setting up and building Aberdeen's new office in the Netherlands. He was also active in developing funds and was responsible for buying and selling real estate investments. Before his position at Aberdeen, Frank worked as Head of Property Management for international real estate advisor Savills (2000 - 2005). Between 1996 and 2000, he was employed by fashion company Coltex. He was responsible for managing a retail portfolio, buying and selling, and (re) development. Frank started his career from 1990 until 1996 in various financial and organisational positions. He has a Bachelor degree in Economics and Law, holds the MSRE title (Master of Science in Real Estate), and is a professional member of the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).
Jan Emmens
Finance Director
Jan Emmens has been a partner at Heeneman & Partners since 2010. Prior to being appointed partner at Heeneman & Partners, Jan co-founded Bakkenist & Emmens, a major provider of private real estate funds, including many supermarket funds. At the end of 2009, Bakkenist & Emmens' activities merged with Annexum, after which he was involved with Annexum as an advisor for some time. Previously, Jan worked at ING in various positions, including corporate finance and asset management. Jan graduated from Erasmus University in Rotterdam as a Business Administrator in 1986. He has subsequently completed various vocational courses, including Real Estate Agency OG and the Investment Analyst Course (VBA). In addition to his activities at Heeneman & Partners, Jan is involved as an advisor/partner in a number of companies, including in the field of renewable energy.
Ina van Amersfoort
Director of Relationship Management
Ina van Amersfoort has been a partner at Heeneman & Partners since 2013. She is responsible for sales, communication, marketing and relationship management. From January 2009, Ina was, among other things, a board member of Bakkenist & Emmens, a major provider of private real estate funds. She was responsible for the internal organisation, communication, and relationship management. At the end of 2009, Bakkenist & Emmens' activities merged with Annexum, where Ina held the position of senior Sales Manager. Prior to that, Ina worked in various positions at financial firms such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Baan Investments, and Boston Consulting Group. Ina has done various vocational courses, including Real Estate Economics, Basic Taxation and Financial Supervision Act.
Rob van Sabben
Director of Real Estate
Rob van Sabben has been a partner at Heeneman & Partners since September 2020. Rob is primarily responsible for the growth of our real estate funds and also responsible for the asset and property management of the existing portfolio. Prior to being partner at Heeneman & Partners, Rob was a partner at P van den Bosch Retail. He was involved in many investment transactions and was responsible for setting up the retail activities at P van den Bosch Business Brokers.
From 2001 to 2015, Rob was active in retail and investment brokerage through his own company (Van Sabben Commercial Real Estate). Between 1994 and 2001, Rob worked at Boer Hartog Hooft Makelaars (now Colliers International) as a broker in various positions, including a member of the management team.
After HEAO and the swearing-in as a broker (1996), Rob did the post-HBO course in real estate administration and was registered as a Registered Appraiser (Commercial Chamber) until 2015.
Stephen van Miert
Fund Manager
Stephen van Miert has been a partner at Heeneman & Partners since 2023. He joined Heeneman & Partners in 2018 and is mainly involved in general fund management, the structuring of investment funds and the legal guidance of real estate transactions. He is also our internal compliance officer. Prior to Heeneman & Partners, he gained experience in the Real Estate practice group at the international law and notary firm DLA Piper Netherlands.
Danielle Tesselaar
Sales assistant
Daniëlle Tesselaar started working as a Sales Assistant at Heeneman & Partners in 2019. Daniëlle mainly focuses on the on-boarding process and investor administration. In addition, she is involved in various sales and marketing activities. Prior to her career at Heeneman & Partners Daniëlle has gained years of knowledge and experience in the financial services industry.
John Biljard
Head of Asset Management
John Biljard has been active at Heeneman & Partners in the position of Head of Asset Management since January 2021. He mainly focuses on managing the various real estate funds and their assets. John has over 16 years of real estate experience in various positions at companies like Ahold, Vinken Vastgoed, NS Stations, and Van Sabben commercial real estate.
Esther Busnach
Finance employee
Esther Busnach has been working at Heeneman & Partners as a finance employee since August 2021. She is responsible for the daily continuity and supports the financial controller in various activities. Esther has years of experience in various financial positions at different companies.
Jonathan Hoekstra
Asset Manager
Jonathan Hoekstra has been employed by Heeneman & Partners as an asset manager since October 2023. He is co-responsible for the asset management of our real estate funds. Jonathan graduated from Hotel School The Hague and completed a master's degree in Entrepreneurship & Innovation. He was introduced to hotel real estate during his internship at Colliers Netherlands. After his studies, he worked at De Klimaatroute where he focused on making buildings more sustainable.
Hans Haasnoot
Financial controller
Hans Haasnoot has been a financial controller at Heeneman & Partners since October 2023. He is responsible for the accounting, financial reporting, and all related financial processes of our organisation and our real estate investment funds. Hans has over 25 years of experience in the international real estate sector and financial services. He started his career at Deloitte before joining Morgan Stanley in 2011. Here he worked in a senior finance position for the real estate and private equity funds.
Noah Zuidwijk
Project Manager
Noah Zuidwijk started as a working student at Heeneman & Partners in January 2024. He joined our team full time as project manager as of September 2024. He's responsible for the optimization of our organisation processes and information systems. Noah graduated at the University of Tilburg with his Master's degree in Strategic Management.
Nina Krüger

Nina Krüger started as a working student at Heeneman & Partners in March 2024. She supports our team with legal issues in this position. Nina is in the final phase of her study at the Amsterdam Law School of the University of Amsterdam.

On behalf of our selectiefonds.nl, we made three purchases. The expansion of this growth fund consists of social objects, including primary care and daycare centers.
